Rosie O'Donnell and her Hammerhead Shark
Well, I tried reaching out to Rosie O'Donnell about her capturing and killing a Great Hammerhead shark, an endangered species.
I tried her Twitter account @Rosie and her name several times, with no success.
In my original posting I was very pissed and angry with Rosie. After cooling off and thinking about it for the day, I thought she might have not known about the Great Hammerhead Shark state of distress. How could I be upset with an unknowledgeable and educated person.
I thought this could be a great opportunity to have Rosie come forward and explain she did not know, which I believe, and then she could use her popularity to educate her fan base on the current state of the worlds reefs, oceans and it's inhabitants'.
After reading several of her Twitter postings, I believe she totally understands her mistake. However, she has yet to process the opportunity to educate and help the long-term livelihood of the ocean. This is a significant opportunity lost by those of us how love the ocean and are fighting to save her from demise.
Thanks for listening,
