At The Azul Ocean, we take brilliant underwater photographs and use them as the inspiration for a variety of souvenirs and gift items for travel, office, and the home.

VALUES

As business owners, we have a responsibility to the planet.  We intend to build upon a sustainable business model.  It is our goal to use recycled, biodegradable and sustainable materials.  We also have a responsibility to our fellow human beings, wherever they live.  We want our products to be manufactured and assembled by a competitively paid workforce.  If local artists are employed, they will be paid in accordance with their skills, at international rates.

STEWARDSHIP

In the effort to preserve the beauty and viability of our oceans and seas, and to educate the public about sustainable practices, we pledge to give back 5% of our gross profits to federally recognized tax-deductible charities.  Our current charity of choice is The Ocean Conservancy.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Arthur Koch was born in Michigan.  He and his wife reside in the southeastern United States.  He's one of the few Americans who not only holds a passport, but actually uses one.  Arthur has been to 36 countries at least once, and spends several months of the year overseas.

Art has nearly fifteen years of experience in diving and underwater photography. Traveling from Fiji to Costa Rica, Tahiti to Galapagos, and Belize to Spain.  His published work has appeared in the “The Ocean Hall” for the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History,  The California Text Book Depository, and on the walls of fans around the world.
